My focus
I have worked with a multitude of issues and various individuals throughout my years as a social worker. I have shifted my focus and am primarily focusing on stress, anxiety, life transitions, and work-life balance. Stress and anxiety are a part of life and are inevitable, so having a variety of coping skills is essential.
My approach
Some of the most common approaches I use (it depends on the individual's needs) are cognitive behavioral therapy and strengths-based, solution-focused therapy. I've been described as personable, laid-back, and encouraging. I tend to focus on strengths and highlight them because our minds tend to veer towards the negative, and we need to rewire that
