Hello, my name is Melissa Lehrich, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have an admiration for those who seek to heal and create a more meaningful life, My focus is to help individuals find peace in themselves and become aware of their inner strengths. We will work together to help you grow from your struggles, increase your quality of life and move forward to where you would like to be. My journey to mental healthcare
Both my parents are in the "helping field". Being a therapist was in my personality from the start. Both parents encouraged open communication and to talk about my feelings. I feel that I am passionate about helping others due to my parents.
My goals for you
Goal setting acts as a roadmap to follow when it comes to overcoming challenges and achieving things in life. I believe collaborating together will strengthen a therapeutic alliance. We will work together in setting attainable short-term and long-term goals.
My first session with you
During the initial visit, we will get to know each other. Will ask questions like "What brought you to therapy?" Other questions about your history, education, relationships (family, romantic, friends), your current living situation, and your career. All these questions will lead to setting your goals.
