My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep curiosity about relationships, identity, and how people heal through connection. I studied sociology and child development in college, where I became fascinated by how family systems shape our understanding of ourselves and others.

Effective therapy begins with a shared understanding of your goals and a clear, collaborative plan. We'll identify what matters most—feeling more grounded, improving relationships, processing trauma, setting boundaries, or developing a stronger sense of self.

Our first session

In our first session, my priority is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and in control of your own story. We’ll begin by getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and any past experiences (positive or negative) you’ve had with therapy.
