Hi there, I'm Michael!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than a decade of psychotherapy experience and over 20 years of work in the behavioral & mental health field. I provide evidence-based, compassionate care for Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, ADHD, ASD, and relationship issues. My approach is collaborative, culturally sensitive, and growth-focused.

My focus

I work with adults, couples, and families navigating Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, grief, life transitions, and relationship stress. I also support clients facing high-conflict divorce, parenting challenges, and intellectual or developmental disabilities. I provide therapy in English, Kurdish, and Farsi.

I integrate CBT, DBT, EFT, Family Systems, and Gottman Method interventions to provide science-based and personalized care. My work is solution-focused, trauma-informed, and grounded in cultural humility. Together, we develop practical skills, deeper insight, and long-term emotional resilience.

My journey to mental healthcare

As an immigrant with lived experience of displacement and cultural transition, I developed a deep commitment to supporting others through life’s challenges. My personal journey shaped my passion for mental health, cultural sensitivity, and advocacy. Helping clients heal, understand themselves, and build meaningful lives continues to drive my work.
