With a multidisciplinary style, Lisa utilizes evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, Solution-focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Expressive Art Therapy. Her approach includes a modern, holistic, and culturally sensitive therapy set in the Eastern practice of mindfulness. Lisa has been successful at creating a safe, supportive environment, a place where clients can explore, play, heal and discover their highest selves. Lisa Douglas is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from JFK University in 2012. During her studies, she specialized in a Holistic approach and Expressive Art Therapies. She is licensed by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
