My clients are typically women and also mothers who are seeking a provider who understands and will ask questions when they don't. I stay grounded in a perspective that addresses the whole person and the systems around them.

I work with women across the adult spectrum. I have experience with life transitions, peripartum and maternal mental health, women's issues, grief, loss, stress, relationship issues, and LGBTQIA+ concerns.

I provide collaborative and feedback-informed care so you feel good about your treatment. I use cultural humility to really understand where you're coming from, what your needs are, and how to best support you on your journey toward meeting your treatment goals.

My communication style

My goal is to create a very chill vibe in sessions. I often log in wearing casual clothing, hair in a bun, sipping tea. I want to provide you with the space to be comfortable when you may be at your most open and vulnerable moments. I speak just like everyone else because I want therapy to be accessible to everyone.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a child born to immigrants, I am passionate about normalizing mental health treatment and improving accessibility for all, especially for folks of marginalized intersectionalities. I am a former client myself, and my experiences have influenced my strong belief in providing cultural and gender-affirming care.

Our first session

Our first session will last about 45 minutes. We will complete an intake assessment, which may feel more like an interview. This helps me collect information about why you want to start therapy now and begin to think about the direction we can move in. I'm careful to hold the necessary space and provide enough time to get through this initial step.
