Hi there, I'm Alexandra!

I have experience working with domestic violence survivors, the LGBTQ community, gender issues, addiction disorders, personality disorders, and grief counseling.

My focus

I am willing to see individuals and minors aged 13-17. My specialties include aging, adolescents/teens, addiction, anxiety, borderline personality, codependency, depression, gender identity, job stress, racial identity, substance use, and sexual orientation.

My approach

I practice a solution-focused, person-centered approach. In a judgment-free space, I use a non-authoritative approach that allows clients to take more of a lead in discussions so that, in the process, they can discover their solutions.

My communication style

I utilize a compassionate approach, listening and acknowledging the client's experience. I am present to encourage and support the client and to guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with the client's process of self-discovery.

My journey to mental healthcare

I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health. I completed clinical hours at New Beginnings Counseling Center, then gained experience at Sharper Future, and worked at Sierra Mental Wellness Group to complete my licensure hours.

In our first session, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I'll listen to your story and answer any questions you have. This is a space for you to share openly as we begin building a collaborative relationship.
