My approach is client-centered and focused. I use motivational interviewing to establish a supportive relationship with the client with the goal of helping the client towards healing.

My journey to mental healthcare

In my own journey through anxiety, grief, and depression with the loss of my late husband, I tried A LOT of things. I thought I could read myself out of grief or pray my way out. The thing I didn't realize was that I needed to confront my grief head-on before I could start to heal. I have learned that healing is possible, but it is messy.
