While there are various approaches to therapy, I firmly believe it is not a one-size-fits-all treatment approach. I commonly incorporate a combination of treatment approaches that include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and Mindfulness techniques.

My communication style

My communication style is calm, empowering, accommodating, and personable. I want to create a safe space for my clients to show up and feel comfortable developing a strong therapeutic relationship.

My journey to mental healthcare

As long as there is breath in your body, there is hope. That is a quote that drives my work as a therapist, and my ability to always be a listening ear and helpful to others was a motivating factor to become a therapist.

It is important to me that when approaching goal setting, it's a collaborative process because your journey is uniquely yours. We will work together to identify pressing concerns and focus on finding a solution and developing goals to meet you where you are and help with moving forward to owning your power.

It is my desire that clients expect to leave our sessions feeling heard, empowered, grounded, and optimistic for the future and ready to identify areas of need and be an active participant in the development of their treatment goals. Clients can expect homework assignments between sessions.
