My communication style

I listen for deeper messages in your communication to understand your underlying hurts and challenge you to think differently about how you currently see your situation. When you can see it differently, you can address it differently.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up, the third of six children, of working-class parents. We were all so different. I developed an interest in how people work (why they do what they do). My favorite reading material was biographies. The readings fed my need to understand people and to recognize that people are shaped by their environment. I enjoy assisting in their wakening

My goals for you

Goals for change evolve as you gain greater understanding into your life circumstances. As your understanding changes, we work together to move forward with that deeper understanding as a next foundation for growth.

Our first session

My initial session involves hearing your story-Where are you? How did you get here? How do you understand yourself in the context of your family? Your world? And then, where do you want to be? How are you hoping I can help?
