Hi there, I'm Kathleen!

I offer client-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused counseling. I work with parents of children with special needs, individuals in substance use recovery, those managing co-parenting after divorce, the LGBTQ+ community and their allies, people living with chronic pain, and trauma survivors.

My focus

I work with individuals and couples of all ages. While I specialize in serving the LGBTQ+ community, I'm also comfortable working with cisgender heterosexual and asexual clients. I'm experienced with depression, anxiety, PTSD, Alcohol Use Disorder, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.

My approach

I draw from Family Systems Theory, Solution-Focused therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Much of my practice centers on cognitive behavioral therapy, incorporating mindfulness meditation and positive psychology. For couples and relationship work, I use the Imago model to help partners reconnect and heal.
