I have worked in schools, nonprofit grant programs, and private practice. I have been a school social worker, working with adolescents, children, and parenting programs.
My focus
I typically work with adolescents and emerging adults dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, dealing with life adjustments due to divorce. In addition, I have treated adults managing life stressors, transitions, work/family balance, anxiety, depression, and dealing with caregiving responsibilities.
My approach
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, so that together, through a strength-based approach, we can recognize strengths while exploring the roots of thoughts and feelings. I incorporate principles of mindfulness, person-centered approach, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy).
