Hi there, I'm Amy!

Hello! I am Amy Allen, a certified counselor, my license number is 180.009834, and I would love to work with you! I would gladly meet with you so that we can define the goals that you would like to obtain and build a plan to achieve those goals. I am experienced in working with all ages across various practice areas, including anxiety, depression, relationship building, career changes, significant life changes, adjusting to changes in family dynamics, and planning for the future stages in life.

My approach

I use a solution-focused approach with clients so that together we can identify areas of concern and change desired and that an end goal is reached.

My focus

I have vast experience working with young adults, parents, and families of various cultural backgrounds.

My communication style

I always want to project a safe and calm environment where people feel comfortable asking questions and exploring topics of interest.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always valued conversations with people who have challenged my thinking to 'what's next in life' and 'what can I do to accomplish this goal'? I like to build on the positive and seek to assist others in achieving the goals they have identified that would benefit their life.

My goals for you

I begin by asking each individual "What they would like for our time together to accomplish?".

My first session with you

A pleasant and constructive conversation focused on establishing what the client would like to accomplish and a plan to work towards goals to be identified.
