Hi there, I'm Kia!

I believe that therapy is a journey that should promote progress and growth. I have been in the field of counseling for over 20 years. I currently work with adults aged 27-57, providing individual therapy.

My focus

My client focus is on clients experiencing anxiety, stress, difficulty with finding/creating work-life balance, and those looking to set and achieve realistic goals. I can provide support to clients struggling with anxiety and stress by providing psychoeducation, encouraging self-care, and teaching coping skills and nervous system regulation.

My approach

My approach to care is caring, compassionate, collaborative, solution-focused, and goal-oriented. I believe that there is great value in nervous system regulation and mindfulness practice, and I like integrating this into sessions when possible.
