I'm warm, direct, and genuinely curious about your story. I don't do clinical detachment — you'll find me present, collaborative, and honest. I ask real questions, sit with complexity, and make space for all of you, not just your symptoms.

My journey to mental healthcare

I came to psychiatry through dance — a conservatory-trained dancer who discovered early that the body holds what words can't always reach. That truth has shaped everything. Combined with my Caribbean American roots and first-gen background, I became the provider I once wished existed.

My goals for you

Goal-setting is collaborative — you lead, I help map the terrain. We identify what's in the way, build a realistic plan rooted in your values, and adjust as you grow. Progress looks different for everyone, and I track it with you every step.

Our first session

Our first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. I'll ask about your story, what's brought you here, and what you're hoping for. You don't need to have it figured out. My job is to listen well, start building trust, and make sure you leave feeling heard — not assessed.
