Hi there, I'm Theresa!

Together, we'll examine your strengths, challenges, and options for living a life that matches your values. Our sessions allow for validation of your story, new insights into your unique experience, healing of your wounds, and growth towards goals that you set.

My focus

I work with people in recovery from substance use and addiction and those coping with mood and personality disorders, depression, OCD, ADHD, anxiety, grief and loss, self-harm, dissociative identity experiences, and transitions in career, relationships, gender or sexual identity, and other life changes.

My approach

I provide client-centered counseling while engaging in directive therapy as needed. I use motivational interviewing, CBT and DBT for mood management, strengths-based and solution-focused counseling, trauma-informed narrative therapy, and intersectional feminist approaches that examine power dynamics in gender, culture, and identity.
