I have been a social worker and therapist for almost 40 years. I am still going strong. My personality helps to easily establish a rapport with clients. My skills can help lead you to become the creator and leading actor in your life. You have the ability to control those negative thoughts that keep you from living your best life.
My focus
I have 30-plus years of experience as an Army civilian social worker. Most of my clients experienced depression and/or high anxiety (to include post-traumatic stress disorder). I can accept individual(s) who are NOT in danger of harm to self or others. I have experience working with the elderly population and on behalf of their families.
My approach
I enjoy working with clients and helping them achieve their goals. I have a never say never approach to therapy. Most clients generally move away from being stuck in the past to going forward. I utilize an elective approach in therapy. Whatever the client seems to need during a particular session is the direction I will proceed.
