My focus

I work with individuals who struggle with anxiety and depression, often experiencing low energy, lack of motivation, and difficulty sustaining relationships. Whether you're 18 or 81, we'll devise goals that help you gain the optimal life you deserve in a non-judgmental, confidential space.

My approach

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, where we work as a team. Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We'll discuss challenging situations and how you feel, think, and act in them. My role is to teach you skills so you become the therapist over your own life.

My communication style

I treat everyone with respect, without judgment. I function as your safe, calm anchor during stressful situations. My communication style is assertive, using active listening, empathy, and healthy boundaries in our relationship.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always been intrigued by how mind, body, and spirit work together. Early in my career, I worked with children who experienced abuse and neglect, witnessing how trauma impacts development and continues into adulthood. My interests expanded to working with young adults and families.

I strive to provide a trusting environment where you feel at ease sharing aspects of your life. We'll develop goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant to you, and time-bound.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. It's perfectly normal to feel nervous or uncertain. I'll provide a calm atmosphere to ease your experience and begin building a trusting relationship with you.
