I work with adults, families, and adolescents. I have extensive experience providing evidence-based therapy to individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, substance abuse, and life transitions.

I typically work with adults and older adolescents. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, family issues, substance abuse, and trauma.

My approach

I use a person-centered, strength-based, individualized approach. I believe a supportive, compassionate, and therapeutic relationship can guide people through challenges in their lives. My goal is to help people build a life worth living. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches based on the client's individual needs.

My communication style

I work to create a warm, safe, accepting environment for my clients. I like to know my client's story. I want to know about their history, their interests, dreams, talents, and struggles. I want my clients to feel heard, understood, and challenged.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, Written Exposure Therapy (WET), Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) approach, and Supportive Therapy.

My goals for you

I explore with my clients their reasons for coming to treatment, help them identify the changes they want or need to make, and provide them with the insight and tools to make those changes.

Our first session

The first session will be focused on me getting to know you, gathering history, and exploring some of the struggles you are currently experiencing. We will identify changes you would like to make and goals for moving forward. We will also determine if this feels like a good fit for you.
