My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to mental health through my experiences as a nurse, where I saw firsthand how deeply emotional and psychological well-being impacts every part of a person’s life. I became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to those often misunderstood or underserved.

I approach goal setting as a collaborative and patient-centered process. During our sessions, I work with clients to identify meaningful, realistic goals that align with their values, priorities, and current challenges.

Our first session

During the first session, patients can expect a thorough and compassionate psychiatric evaluation. I take the time to get to know you, your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and any previous treatments or diagnoses.
