My communication style

You can expect me to be present and calm. I will listen to you completely, and we will work together to find a way forward when you're feeling confused or need some direction. I invite clients to be transparent about our work together in order to support an effective relationship conducive to growth.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to the therapeutic field by the desire to help people who were hurting ease their discomfort. Working with trauma survivors, I found happiness in watching them overcome fears and other difficult feelings so they could thrive. I have also been excited to watch people paralyzed by anxiety learn how to resume activities they love.

My goals for you

You will determine what your goals of therapy are. I will put your goals into a format that you can use to see your progress over time, and we will adjust the goals you work on as indicated or when you want to change focus. Your goals might be to reduce panic attacks, to improve how you see yourself, or boundary setting.

Our first session

During your first session, you will let me know what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping the experience in therapy will bring. We will work at your pace and develop a relationship where you can feel comfortable to be yourself.
