I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for more than 30 years. Working with people is my passion. I truly believe that personal growth and personal development are possible. It is an honor and a privilege to work with clients toward their goals and toward their healing and recovery. I strive to offer a safe. respectful. environment.
My focus
I work with adults of all ages. I focus on assisting clients to achieve their life cycle goals. I have a minor in gerontology, and I am sensitive to issues related to aging. I help adults navigate through depression, anxiety, and stress by supporting the development of coping skills.
My approach
I believe in starting where the client is. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and reframe negative thinking. Supportive Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy are utilized frequently. Other skills, such as Mindfulness and Self-Management Skills, will be incorporated to reach client goals.
