I am willing to work with clients of all genders, races, religions etc. I believe in a multicultural approach and that everyone's culture and values are an important part of who they are and therefore their care as well.

My approach

I meet clients where they are, offering a laid-back, supportive environment while also asking thoughtful, honest questions when needed. I value humor and connection and believe that laughter can be an important part of healing. At the same time, I am deeply committed to helping clients process trauma and navigate life’s most difficult experiences.

I believe in keeping it real, building trust, and being a steady support system throughout the therapeutic process. I will guide you to decide what decision is best for you without judgement.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have wanted to work in psychology since I was in high school. I was in AP Psychology and tasked with an assignment of choosing a song and describing the emotions that it elicits. This along with the rest of the course piqued my interest in the field and into the study of human nature.

My goals for you

I like to understand the person's thought processes, experiences, and background that has contributed to who they have become as a person. I think this is an important part when setting goals.

Our first session

A first session is a "getting to know each other" experience. I ask questions to gain an understanding of your preferences for counseling and expectations, so we have a baseline to start. I offer information on my background and experience, so you feel comfortable as well.
