My communication style

My communication style is calm, warm, and approachable. In time, I hope my clients will grow comfortable enough to share anything and everything on their minds and in their hearts.

My journey to mental healthcare

Therapy is my second “later in life” career after spending time in the colorful backstage world of the theatre, where I proudly served as an assistant stage manager and dresser, officially, and as a counselor and confidant second. Actors felt safe and seen with me and often remarked, “You really should be a therapist.” So, I became one.

My goals for you

Goal setting is done collaboratively, most likely during the second session, after we have established an initial connection and developed mutual understanding. Goals are always yours to craft, refine, and change as we go along. You define your own values and desired changes, and I will help you work towards them in realistic, sustainable ways.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll get to know each other a bit and discuss any challenges you may be experiencing. If you deem us a good fit for more sessions, we'll continue to examine the roots of your distress and develop personalized solutions.
