Hi there, I'm Mitzi!

I am semi-retired and have worked in Mental Health for over 30 years. I am trained in Trauma, Addiction, and Mood Disorders. I'm fairly straightforward in my technique and enjoy teaching relaxation and coping skills to lessen anxiety and empower others to achieve their goals.

My focus

I like to focus on hearing what each client needs and providing a safe environment to explore new ways to change perspectives and accept the person they are becoming. We all look for acceptance and desire to be heard. Learning to quiet the negative voices from the past is key to understanding.

My approach

I see therapy as a journey and feel initial meetings are like planning a long trip. Every individual has different strengths and may need stops or side trips along the way to heal old wounds and become more aware of their own needs and explore new pathways for growth.
