Hi there, I'm Ivy!

I am a curious and inclusive person who meets people where they are. I have spent thirty years in various jobs in the Human Services field, and I really am hopeful that everyone can achieve their best life with some support and a few new ideas. How can your tomorrow be better than your yesterday? Let's explore that notion!

My focus

I'm not sure I have ideal clients. Everyone is a blend of so many experiences in their lives! I am not a specialist; however, I am a general counselor, and my broadest and deepest experience is in the disability community. If you are looking for a marriage and family specialist, or an addictions specialist, or a social worker, I am NOT those.

My approach

I am a bit of an existentialist, and I understand the impacts of trauma and systemic oppression on people. I often think outside the box when connecting the dots of experience to the opportunities of the unknown future. I believe we are all both fragile and strong, and I want to honor that mix and encourage you to honor that mix within yourself.
