My communication style

My communication style is warm, respectful, and straightforward. I believe in creating a safe space where clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable being themselves. I use active listening, thoughtful questions, and gentle encouragement to help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey has been both rewarding and humbling. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with many different populations and to learn from a wide range of life experiences. Life has also taught me that we do not always have complete control over what happens to us, but we do have choices on our response to that event.

My goals for you

During therapy, I support clients in building coping skills, improving communication, setting healthy boundaries, strengthening self-confidence, and developing healthier ways to manage stress and life challenges. I also encourage clients to recognize their strengths, take an active role in their growth, and practice new skills outside of sessions.

Our first session

During the first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you can begin sharing what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, important life experiences, symptoms, relationships, coping skills, and what you hope to achieve through counseling.
