I’ve been a therapist for a long time (19 years), and I love what I do. I graduated with a master’s of Social Work degree from UALR in 2006. I see my profession as a calling. One of my greatest joys is working with someone who begins to see that they have the power to change their life and find healing.

People seek therapy for a variety of reasons and at various times throughout their life. Asking for help can be one of the hardest yet most rewarding decisions you can make for yourself. My goal is to explore with you areas in your life that have caused pain and suffering, help you to achieve greater self-awareness, and increase personal growth.

I retired from community mental health to begin private practice part-time in 2020. Three main career tracks have been teaching, administration, and counseling. I am the author of several books and am currently writing one to help caregivers. I am also an ordained minister with my denomination and enjoy working with clients of most all ages.
