I am a Psy.D., Doctor of Psychology, university professor with 14 years of direct counseling experience and am licensed in multiple states. I am greatly experienced in helping people on the autism spectrum lead fuller lives and go beyond the doubt and anxiety that occurs with autistic traits. Anxiety, depression, and autism are my primary focus.

I work with adolescents, adults, and families using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I specialize in depression, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, adjustment disorders, and parenting issues.

I have my master's degree in social work from the University of Kentucky and I am independently licensed in Iowa. I have experience in most areas especially severe and persistent mental illness and substance use. If you don't like a therapist who will make you laugh from time to time I'm probably not the best one for you.
