I have experience helping individuals and families process traumatic events to assist them in reducing the negative effects the symptoms of trauma can have on survivors and the people that they love.

While I enjoy working with a variety of people, I specialize in older adults and those who care for them. I also have experience working with families of children with special needs.

I actively approach therapy. I tend to give guidance, suggest techniques to make the way to success smoother, and offer “homework” to practice those techniques between sessions. After all, change is most helpful when it happens both in and out of the therapy room. (Don’t worry; this “homework” doesn’t lead to grades or tests!)
