I’m Dr. Tonya Y. Griffith, DSW, LMSW, a Clinical Trauma Therapist and founder of Limitless Possibilities Counseling Services. I provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, and major life stressors.

I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, or feel stuck in cycles. My work includes first responders and the military. I graduated with a Master's in Professional Counseling in 2017 from CMU. I have 3+ years working in Telehealth crisis intervention, answering crisis calls. I have also worked with individuals who have TBI’s, are on the ASD spectrum, youth, adults, and families at the city, county and state levels addressing a variety of different issues.

Life comes with a lot of pressure, and it is easy to get caught up in self-doubt or anxiety. I support teens and adults as they process trauma, face big life transitions, and build up their confidence. Our sessions can be a collaborative space to learn practical coping strategies and create a growth plan that fits your unique life.

I work with people navigating life's challenges using an approach that draws from real-life experience and evidence-based methods. I'm trained in DBT, EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT, and I tailor my work to fit your unique needs and goals.

Life can deal you a bad hand. Childhood trauma, abuse, neglect, betrayal, rejection, and abandonment can impact our life trajectory. It will impact our social, work, and professional lives. However, healing is possible. We have to work therapeutically, yet healing is possible.

I take a person-centered approach and specialize in mood disorders, ADHD, and Autism. I integrate clinical training and neurodivergent lived experience to provide thoughtful, individualized care.

I actively approach therapy. I tend to give guidance, suggest techniques to make the way to success smoother, and offer “homework” to practice those techniques between sessions. After all, change is most helpful when it happens both in and out of the therapy room. (Don’t worry; this “homework” doesn’t lead to grades or tests!)
