Starting therapy can be incredibly difficult and scary. I try to ease that difficulty and discomfort by bringing compassion, authenticity, and curiosity to the therapy space. I help support clients through whatever challenges they are facing to be able to realize the version of themselves they hope to be.

My approach is to listen with compassion and understanding, and the knowledge that when someone takes the step to come to therapy, they do so from a position of strength. Understandably, it can also be very uncomfortable to divulge so much about yourself to a stranger, and with that, I honor and acknowledge that you have taken that step.

I work with adolescents and adults to help them achieve their therapeutic goals using a holistic approach. When I'm not practicing therapy, I enjoy gardening, being outside, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

I know what it's like to lose a pet you loved. I work with adults who have experienced the loss of their pet and with ongoing challenges with anxiety and depression.

I am a trauma treatment specialist and skilled co-occurring provider. I also help professionals, first responders, and those needing help with vicarious trauma.

I am licensed in Minnesota, Oregon, New York, and Washington. With over 30 years in the helping professions, I have worked in many settings, including street outreach, community programs, inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, and private practice.
