I work with children, adolescents, and adults, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders using evidence-based approaches.

I provide counseling in private practice and coordinate community outreach serving at-risk youths, families, individuals, couples, elderly, poor, imprisoned, homeless, disabled and indigent. I help people stop living in the past and reclaim their joy.

I have lived a long and colorful life. I've made good and bad choices. I have 22+ years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My life's work can be summed up in three words: "offering people hope".

My pronouns are (she/her). I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 2012. I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019. I am licensed to practice in the states of NC, SC and VA.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Our mind, body, and soul all work together to create who we are. It is important that we work to get each of these aspects of our lives healthy. My therapy approach is eclectic style. I truly believe that each individual has unique needs that I want to ensure I meet.
