I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults who understand what is wrong but still feel stuck repeating the same patterns. I help clients look beneath symptoms to understand what drives them, while developing practical ways to manage anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD, relationship difficulties, and major life changes.

A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.

I have lived a long and colorful life. I've made good and bad choices. I have 22+ years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My life's work can be summed up in three words: "offering people hope".

My pronouns are (she/her). I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 2012. I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019. I am licensed to practice in the states of NC, SC and VA.
