Alicia Thomas, MS, LPC specializes in working with teens (17+) and adults. Her goal is to partner with her clients as they travel on their journey to healing from trauma, grief, relationship issues, and depression. In working with Alicia, you can expect a personalized experience based on your background, needs, and goals.

An LISW-CP, a clinical psychotherapist and U.S. Air Force veteran with nearly two decades of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities through trauma, transition, and transformation. She meets clients where they are with assertive warmth, compassion and inspiration.

Life can feel overwhelming when you’re carrying everything alone. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, relationship stress, or sudden changes can leave you feeling stuck and misunderstood. I work with adults who want clarity, support, and a place to exhale.

My pronouns are (she/her). I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 2012. I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019. I am licensed to practice in the states of NC, SC and VA.

I work with individuals who may be struggling to find hope after trauma, navigating unexpected life transitions, or managing the trials of medical challenges. I also have a special connection with nurses, medical personnel, and first responders. Initially, my focus is on listening and creating a safe space, to develop a strong therapeutic rapport
