I’m an LISW-CP, and I’m glad you’re here. At Therapy Blooms Wellness, I help clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion, evidence-based strategies, and a space where healing and growth can truly flourish. My practice focuses on empowering individuals of all ages to overcome barriers, build resilience, and bloom.

A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.

I bring over 20 years of diverse experience, shaped by extensive training, interdisciplinary education, and a passion for helping others live empowered, fulfilling lives.

I am an LMFT licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. I have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. My journey began in 2006 as an intern at the Marriage and Family Institute in Abilene, Texas. After 13 years of gaining experience at local agencies, I now love working in private practice!

I work with adults, adolescents, families, and couples facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, family conflict, parenting challenges, grief and loss, gender identity, sexual trauma, and ADHD.

Being overwhelmed and stuck can make life feel impossible. You are far from alone. The majority of people struggle; we just don't get many opportunities to genuinely talk about our issues. My goal as a therapist is to help you feel understood, connected, and equipped to face challenges with a sense of confidence and curiosity.

My pronouns are (she/her). I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 2012. I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019. I am licensed to practice in the states of NC, SC and VA.

I specialize in trauma, clinical Christian counseling, and motivational therapy. With a holistic approach, I integrate evidence-based practices and spiritual principles to help clients achieve emotional healing and personal growth.

My therapy approach is eclectic style. I truly believe that each individual has unique needs that I want to ensure I meet.

Life, work, school, and families are often full of challenges, stress, and sometimes serious conflict, pain, and grief.

I have spent the last several years providing direct care to clients experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression, primarily due to caregiver roles, personal/work responsibilities, chronic illness, and concerns related to aging.

I believe everyone can heal from trauma, solve problems, and improve their lives. I help people of all ages find solutions, learn skills, set goals, and manage emotions related to trauma and stress. I've helped clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, anger management, and parenting challenges.
