A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Clinical Supervisor who specializes in supporting children, teens, young adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I provide a compassionate and collaborative space where clients can explore emotions, build coping skills, and move toward healing and growth.

I’m passionate about helping clients work through life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, and other difficult emotions, in a way that feels both supportive and empowering. I am an LPC, licensed in the states of Georgia and South Carolina. I have been working in the field of counseling for 15 years. I use many forms of therapy but, I am a strong believer in two evidenced-based theories i.e. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Theory (CPT).
