I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Virginia and South Carolina. I am a former teacher who worked with the regular and special education environments. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of the Cumberlands.

I work with adults, adolescents, families, and couples facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, family conflict, parenting challenges, grief and loss, gender identity, sexual trauma, and ADHD.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Our mind, body, and soul all work together to create who we are. It is important that we work to get each of these aspects of our lives healthy. My pronouns are (she/her). I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 2012. I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019. I am licensed to practice in the states of NC, SC and VA.

By looking at both conscious and unconscious beliefs, you can choose more adaptive beliefs and combine them with new behaviors, which creates a whole new reality. I also understand how past traumas impact how you approach the present moment, and I will address these root issues.
