I am a licensed mental health therapist committed to helping clients create meaningful and lasting change. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented, supporting individuals who are experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, or major life transitions. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space.

My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, build confidence, and create a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling. I will help clients explore anxiety, self-doubt, and life changes in a supportive, compassionate space.

A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.

Being overwhelmed and stuck can make life feel impossible. You are far from alone. The majority of people struggle; we just don't get many opportunities to genuinely talk about our issues. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges, transitions, and personal growth. Together, we will build on your strengths and develop practical tools to support healing, resilience, and lasting change.

I believe everyone can heal from trauma, solve problems, and improve their lives. I help people of all ages find solutions, learn skills, set goals, and manage emotions related to trauma and stress. I've helped clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, anger management, and parenting challenges.

I utilize Christian Counseling and an Eclectic approach (a combination of talk therapy and somatic/holistic practices). I have experience working with a wide range of individuals, with my most recent experience including college students and young adults.

I have lived a long and colorful life. I've made good and bad choices. I have 22+ years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My life's work can be summed up in three words: "offering people hope".

I believe in working with the client where they are and using tools that fit the needs of the client. I have worked with many different types of clientele. I have worked with children & teenagers, couples & families, and people with minor disabilities such as autism.

I believe the most important thing I can offer as a counselor is this: genuine care. A mentor once told me, “Nobody cares what you know until they know that you care,” and that has stayed with me throughout my career. It shapes how I show up in every session, with authenticity, presence, and respect for your experience.

It's my goal to come alongside you and promote awareness of the uniqueness you already possess and offer help with challenges currently being faced.

The majority of my clients include teens, adults, and couples. My specializations include anxiety, depression, human sexuality, LGBTQIA+ issues, and trauma. I have experience working with people who have survived sexual assault and intimate partner violence.

I believe everyone has the answers they seek inside of them, and it's my job to help you get to the answers. In my spare time, I play golf and guitar, and walk on the beach.

I support people from all walks of life, including military, veterans, first responders, teens, and adults. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to reach out for help, and I want to support that first courageous step.
