I have lived a long and colorful life. I've made good and bad choices. I have 22+ years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My life's work can be summed up in three words: "offering people hope".

I am passionate about helping others. I work with individuals coping with a variety of challenges in their lives, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, maternal mental health, trauma, grief and loss, and personal growth.

With the use of CBT, I assist clients with identifying, addressing, and learning coping strategies to manage their current struggles. A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.
