My name is Zunilda Chaudry. I am a licensed, bilingual, eclectic counselor in Oklahoma and California with 13 years of professional work experience. My style of helping my clients is to be an understanding, compassionate, and non-judgmental, who is there to help them feel heard and validated. I use therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavior therapy, behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, play therapy, family and relationship therapy are the most commonly used approaches. I believe that you are the expert and the author of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. As an eclectic counselor and because everyone is unique, I like to incorporate techniques from other models to help my clients meet their needs. Generally, approaches that I use with my clients are cognitive behavior therapy, behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, and play therapy are the most commonly used approaches.
My focus
I have experience and feel most comfortable treating and helping clients with depression, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, anger management, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, ADHD, trauma-related, and other issues.

My style of helping clients is to be an understanding, compassionate, and non-judgmental, who is there to help the clients feel heard and validated. My goal is to help the clients leave sessions feeling better than when they got there.
My journey to mental healthcare
What attracted me to become a therapist was wishes that I have to help others in need of therapy. I encountered a family in distress and I did not know how to help them and that motivated me to search for ways and answers to help. I feel I chose the right career for myself and I don't see myself doing any other job other than this. I am dedicated to helping others feel better, happier, and more successful.
My goals for you
The clients create their own goals because they are the experts and know their issues, and I am there with tools guiding to help them reach those goals. They set their goals by following and coping, adapting, and aligning the steps provided in their toolboxes.

My clients should expect to feel secure and trusting that anything that they say in sessions should be kept confidential and that they are free to express themselves with no fear of being degraded or judged by the helper.
