I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Psychological Associate with expertise and advanced training in evidence-based practices. I have extensive experience working with adults and older adults who are experiencing challenges related to mood disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, life transitions, relational and attachment challenges, stress and stress-related concerns, trauma issues, and grief and loss.
My approach
I utilize an integrative approach of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet an individual's unique needs. Some of the modalities that I provide are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Integrative/Holistic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
My focus
My primary goal is to be of service in assisting my clients to lead fulfilled and empowered lives. I believe in creating therapeutic relationships with my client(s) whereby my client(s) feel heard and understood and also supported throughout the therapy process. I also believe that all people are capable of healing, and I am respectful and sensitively attentive to cultural factors as these factors relate to each client's background and unique story.

My tone and gesture represent a calm, nonjudgmental, and caring demeanor that allows a client to feel welcome and appreciated. As a professional, my forefront focus remains to always be of service to clients with integrity and care, always treating the client with respect and dignity.
My journey to mental healthcare
Right from childhood, I have always been someone that is interested in being of service and a vessel in bringing about positive changes in people's lives and communities at large. That spirit of being able to be of service led me to become a clinician. With my work as a clinician, I feel fulfilled knowing that I am positively contributing and making a significant impact in society.

My first session with you
In my first session with a client, the goal is to establish rapport and so, I will provide the client with a positive and calming welcoming attitude that is a safe and therapeutic space for the client to feel welcomed and encouraged to become comfortable and open to engaging in establishing an effective working relationship.
