I want clients to have a sense of being understood and feel validated about their feelings. My goal is to help increase your energy and motivation to work on the issues you're facing, with a clear understanding of how the therapeutic process will work.
My approach
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) which focuses on mindfulness, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills; and Psychodynamic therapy to explore how past events may be impacting your present. Together, we will identify strategies to challenge negative thinking patterns, implement coping skills, and empower you to make positive changes in your life.
My focus
I work with individuals facing a range of challenges, including ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, divorce, grief, life transitions, parenting issues, personality disorders, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, and trauma/PTSD.
My communication style
My communication style is focused on helping you feel understood and validated. I aim to provide support and reassurance during difficult times while collaborating with you to develop effective strategies for managing the issues you're facing. Our work together will be a partnership, with the goal of empowering you to make positive changes.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to mental healthcare began with my clinical training from 2015-2020 at Bright House in Stockton, CA, Victor Community Services in Stockton, CA, and Aspiranet Home Based Services in Modesto, CA.
My goals for you
My goals for you are to develop better cognitive and emotional skills, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and learn effective coping strategies for the various life challenges you're facing. I want to help you increase your self-esteem, establish healthy boundaries in relationships, and improve communication skills. Ultimately, my aim is to support you in improving your overall quality of life.
