Hi there, I'm Patricia!

My name is Patricia Narez, LCSW. I've been in the mental health field for over 27 years. I specialize in trauma and addiction but treat anxiety disorders, mood disorders, adolescents. Adults, couples, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, changes of life, and stress.

My approach

I am trained in EMDR and CBT. However, I believe in individualizing treatment to fit the client

My focus

I have a passion for teens, adults, couples.

My communication style

I provide a calming atmosphere where client and myself agree on the direction of therapy

My journey to mental healthcare

I began working in the field of addiction in my 20s. I found many addicts also suffered from trauma which motivated me to study the best approaches to trauma. I received training in EMDR therapy as it provides the best outcomes for trauma. I also worked in the corrections setting with addicts. I am passionate about working with former felons who often have history of addiction and trauma. 2017 I opened a private practice helping teens and adults heal from Depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-harm, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders. I believe in helping others to obtain a life of thriving rather than just surviving

My goals for you

Goals are focus on a collaborative approach.

My first session with you

I encourage the client to share what they are comfortable with. I believe collaboration in treatment goals is essential to the success of therapy.
