My name is Tiffany Marie Avery, and I am a Clinical Licensed Social Worker. My approach to therapy is client-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused to help individuals reach their highest potential.
My approach
My therapy approach utilizes a combination of Humanistic psychology, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Person-centered, Strength-based, and Solution-focused practices to meet clients where they are and to build confidence to solve problems and achieve their life goals.
My focus
My experience is in residential and outpatient substance use treatment, in which I’ve worked with dual-diagnosed clients. My experience has provided me with a strong foundation in working to address trauma, depression, anxiety, family issues, and substance use.
My communication style
I like to create a comfortable and open environment to allow clients to be honest and real.
My journey to mental healthcare
I’ve always been a natural nurturer to my friends and family by empowering them to be and do what they want with confidence.
My goals for you
When goal setting, I encourage and support clients to focus on daily objectives, such as developing a routine, having daily affirmations, and creating a checklist to achieve their goal/s.
My first session with you
During a first session, clients can expect to immediately get a feel for who I am and if I am a fit for them or not.
