Hello, my name is Danielle Santos and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I believe my client is the expert on themselves and I am simply a partner and a guide. I will help you find your own answers and will focus on self-empowerment.

My approach is considered eclectic; I use varying modalities and treatment approaches, depending on what my client needs. People who enjoy my treatment style are people who are truly ready to make positive changes in their lives, and who also have a great sense of humor.

Conditions I'm most comfortable treating include adjusting to disorder (aka Adjustment Disorder) and processing and healing from traumatic events (Anxiety, Panic, PTSD, Acute Stress Disorder). My client focus is certainly not limited to these conditions, but these are primarily what clients see me for.
My communication style
Most clients tell me I am warm and approachable and create a safe environment. I will do deep work with you, then lighten the mood with some humor. I do use play therapy with teens and adults on occasion...
