My approach
I believe establishing a strong alliance with my clients is essential to getting the most out of therapy and creating lasting change. Through this alliance, I partner with my clients to explore and address thought and behavior patterns that serve as barriers to enjoying life fully.
My focus
I focus on working with individuals, families, couples, and minors (ages 13-17). My specialties include ADHD, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, divorce, domestic violence, family conflict, grief, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, OCD, parenting, personality disorders, relationship issues, self-esteem, self-harming, sexual abuse, sexual addiction, stress, suicidal ideation, trauma and PTSD, panic attacks, schizophrenia, and racial identity.
My communication style
I strive to create an open, collaborative dialogue where you feel heard and understood. By listening closely and asking clarifying questions, I aim to grasp your unique perspective and experiences. My communication style is warm, non-judgmental, and direct as we work together to gain insight and find effective solutions tailored to your needs.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey in mental healthcare included working at New Alternatives, Inc., Cajon Valley School Project in La Mesa, CA from March 2015 to December 2017, where I completed my clinical hours for licensure.
