Hello, my name is Ruben Rodriguez, LCSW 99037. I have been trained in Managing and Adapting Practices, Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I focus on working with adolescents and adults.
My approach
I use an eclectic approach to therapy by incorporating various theoretical models. I also use person-centered therapy to identify the current goals of treatment and assist in working on the here and now.
My focus
I have focused on working with adolescents and young adults. I have worked with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, anger management, and adjustment conditions.
My communication style
I create an environment where the client is able to talk about themselves without having concerns of judgment or criticism.
My goals for you
We discuss the goals for therapy and expectations for the end of treatment. We review the goals at the beginning of our sessions to see how progress is and continue working towards that goal.
My first session with you
During our first session, we will discuss my role as your therapist, length of services, session structure, and what you hope to gain from therapy.
