My role is to provide a safe and welcoming space where you can explore these challenges, gain insight into your life, and develop tools to cultivate greater happiness and fulfillment in your everyday experiences, work, and relationships.
My focus
As a therapist, throughout my career in mental health, spanning almost two decades, I have been fortunate enough to work with a wide range of clients, gaining valuable expertise in several evidence-based therapies such as person-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral theories, just to name a few. I cater to adults and couples.
My communication style
My clients find my no-nonsense approach to be a breath of fresh air, and they appreciate the collaborative and practical nature of my work, tailoring treatment to each individual's specific needs and circumstances.
My journey to mental healthcare
As a therapist, I have the incredible privilege of guiding people through their personal challenges, helping them to navigate through their emotions and burdens, and ultimately empowering them to achieve a healthier and happier mind. It is such a fulfilling and rewarding experience, witnessing the transformative power of therapy as clients develop a whole new mindset that enables them to pursue new and exciting pathways in both their professional and personal lives. I am truly honored to be a part of this journey and to make a positive impact on the lives of those I work with.
My goals for you
Initial therapy goals do not need to be specific; usually, broad goals are enough to get started. When it comes to setting goals, it’s important to hone in on what you really want. However, it is a collaborative process. Ideally, the client will be responsible for setting the therapy goals and I will assist by managing the expectations of the goal.
My first session with you
The first session will be different from future visits. The initial visit is a period for you and I as the therapist to get to know each other and get an idea of how to proceed. Future visits will be more therapeutic in nature.
