My approach

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and inclusiveness. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, strength-based therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and narrative therapy. Which modality I use depends upon your needs, preferences, and treatment plan.

My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I support clients as they access the deeper, hidden parts of themselves. My focus is on creating a non-judgmental environment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist because I enjoy helping individuals from all walks of life achieve their goals. I have a deep personal understanding of those struggling with mental health challenges. I truly believe humans are capable of change with support, guidance, and a desire to be the best version of themselves.

Our first session

During our initial session, we will discuss what prompted you to seek therapy and how you are currently feeling. I will ask questions to understand your circumstances and treatment goals. The session is geared towards building rapport and determining how to proceed. You can ask questions and determine if we are a good fit.
